S&P 500 Stocks Trading Below DCF Estimates

Last reviewed August 17, 2026. This page compares market prices with discounted cash flow estimates. A positive model gap can be a useful research signal, but it does not establish that a stock is objectively undervalued or suitable to buy.

The dated versions mixed generic ratings with “undervalued” language but did not publish the DCF estimate and price gap used to support that label. Those unverifiable lists have been consolidated and removed.

The active generator now publishes this evergreen URL only when at least 25 active companies have valid, positive prices and DCF estimates. It calculates `DCF estimate / market price - 1`, keeps positive gaps, sorts from largest to smallest, and shows the current price, DCF estimate, and calculated percentage for every row. Data comes from Financial Modeling Prep, and the complete source cohort must pass validation before any article is written.

DCF output is highly sensitive to growth, discount-rate, and terminal-value assumptions. Market and financial-statement data can also be delayed. Compare any estimate with other valuation methods and your own assumptions. This page is educational, not financial advice, and does not make buy or sell recommendations.
